Swaad Golam

SWAAD GOLAM is the managing member of the General Partner and the Trading Adviser. With a diverse and unique background in capital markets, low‑latency trading, and quantitative development, Mr. Golam is an industry expert with experience in low‑latency trading architecture, artificial intelligence for quantitative trading, and product management.

In addition to his technical expertise, Mr. Golam has a proven ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and clients. He is a subject matter expert in the Corvil Product, which is recognized as the gold standard for latency measurement and is skilled at consulting on trading architecture from feed handlers and market data feeds to order and risk management systems.

From April 2017 to February 2018, Mr. Golam was employed with Fenics Software Inc / BGC Partners, an exclusive distributor of data for BGC Group Inc., New York, NY as a quality assurance analyst. From February 2018 to June 2018, he was assistant VP of fixed income / rates support for Tradeweb Markets, LLC, Jersey City, NJ. He was self‑employed from July 2018 to August 2018. From September 2018 to July 2019, he was an electronic trading sales engineer for Corvil Ltd., New York, NY, which was acquired by Pico Quantitative Trading (Pico) in July 2019. He continued working as a trading sales engineer for Pico until February 2020.

From March 2020 to April 2022, he was a senior solutions engineer for Altair Engineering, an information technology company located in Bedford, MA. From November 2020 to November 2024, Mr. Golam consulted for Citibank (aka Citigroup), New York, NY, where he was retained to deploy trading and telemetry solutions for their smart order router across assets including global equities, fixed income, and commodities teams. Mr. Golam helped measure and improve end‑to‑end latency across the technical stack, enhancing the entire agency brokerage and enabling stakeholders to make pivotal revenue‑generating business decisions in real time. Mr. Golam's expertise and leadership were essential in delivering this project successfully, which ultimately helped Citibank drive revenue and improve their trading operations.

Mr. Golam's experience with Citibank began while he was employed with Altair Engineering, where he was assigned to Citibank for low‑latency trading. Mr. Golam resigned from Altair Engineering in April 2022. Taking on his first client in April 2022, he was retained by Best Execution Solutions and Citigroup Global Markets for independent consulting in low‑latency trading through his own consulting company Rebel Trading, LLC (Brooklyn, NY) until July 2024, when he returned to Citibank, where he remained until November 2024 as a senior VP and metrics team lead performing services in his previous capacity.

Mr. Golam has been an independent consultant in low‑latency trading since November 2024 for Hive Scale, LLC, a Delaware registered limited liability company providing clients with technology consulting services and subject matter expertise in low‑latency trading architecture, infrastructure design, and trading system telemetry. Hive Scale, LLC does not engage in providing investment advice or transact with client funds.

Leveraging his experience in capital markets and electronic trading, Mr. Golam delivers value to clients by driving quantitative risk management and delivering strategic automated execution strategies in commodities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Science and Technology Studies with a computer science specialty from New York University Tandon School of Engineering.
